There is a new type of dryer on the block. Heat pump tumble dryers are highly energy efficient and very gentle on your clothes. These are Energy Efficiency Class A+ compared to C, D or even E for many older dryers. An A+ rated dryer will save you 50% on your electricity cost compared to a C rated dryer.
